As discussed at our November Board meeting, I had a conversation with Rock City Church leadership about the on-going speed problems on Abbey Orchard. The following are the key points of that discussion:
1. An electronic speed sign will be installed within the next few weeks (this will not be permanent) to alert drivers of their speeding.
2. The church is still discussing adding speed "humps" on Abbey Orchard
3. The church is considering "striping" Abbey Orchard to keep cars in their proper lane.
4. All entry ways will be opened by Christmas. After a period of time, the traffic will again be evaluated.
5. The school principal will again be informed of the speeding problem.
6. The street sign at Allington will be put back up soon.
